STUART, Va. – Nature lovers, citizen scientists and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to participate in the Fall BioBlitz at Fairy Stone State Park, taking place Oct. 10-12. This family-friendly event is an exciting opportunity to explore the park’s diverse habitats, contribute to scientific research and connect with nature.
During the three-day BioBlitz, participants will work alongside naturalists, park rangers and community members to identify and document as many plant and animal species as possible throughout the park. From birds to fungi, every observation helps scientists better understand the rich biodiversity of Fairy Stone’s unique ecosystems.
