DCR 從開放空間康樂和保育基金獲得所得稅退款的自願性供款。該基金用於：

- 為當地提供補助金，以提供戶外康樂項目，以增加安全開放空間的訪問權限。
A portion of the fund supports outdoor grants such as the Trail Access Grants program, which goes to projects that increase access to trail opportunities for people with disabilities. Grants are awarded based on the availability of funds, hence there is no particular grant calendar cycle for awarding grants.
Part of the funding is also used to buy land for conservation and recreation and to develop and maintain public park facilities. This includes supporting the Natural Area Preserve System.
供款可於附表 VAC 第 II 段作出供款，並附上個人報稅表格 760 第 31 行。要選擇開放空間康樂及保育基金，納稅人必須在自願性供款部分中寫入代碼編號 68。
