The Coastal Resilience Web Explorer includes two “living” inventories to support flood resilience in coastal Virginia: the Projects & Initiatives Inventory and the Funding Opportunities Database.
The User Portal is a companion online platform to the web explorer. It allows localities, planning district commissions, state agencies, non-profits, universities and others to submit updates directly to the inventories.
Once approved by DCR, submitted entries to the user portal will appear directly in the web explorer. The portal is designed to make it easy to share information with all types of stakeholders in a format that is regularly updated.
Projects & Initiatives Inventory:
Funding Opportunities Database:Any programs, studies, plans or projects located in coastal Virginia which are led or supported by the government, and which have a primary purpose to address the impacts of flooding on people, the environment, or the economy.
To gain access to the user portal, submit a completed User Access Form via email to DCR at Resilience.Explorer@dcr.virginia.gov. DCR will provide you with a login so that you can begin adding new entries and updating existing ones for your organization.
