Start 2025 by joining park rangers for our annual First Day Hike. This year we will be admiring the forests and beautiful panoramic views from Buck Hill Trail, which is a 2-mile, easy to moderate hike.

The guided hike will take about 1.5 hours as we journey through the park's forests and meadows in winter. We recommend getting to the Buck Hill Trail trailhead early as the hike starts promptly at 9:00 am. Please dress according to the weather, wear close-toed shoes, and carry water.
